KPC International is a privately held company led by CEO John Devlin and supported by the management team and key strategic advisors which bring a range of skills and experiences for the leadership and governance of the organisation. We have a significant team world wide, with an extensive network of consultants.

A chemical engineer, John has spent many years providing expert knowledge on Commissioning, Qualification & Validation to biotech companies such as Novartis, Gedeon Richter, Wyeth, Merck Serono & BMS, both nationally and internationally. As an internationally recognized expert in the area of Commissioning and Qualification, John has been published in Pharmaceutical Engineering, May/June edition 2007 – “Integration of Commissioning and Qualification with other Phases of the Project Life Cycle” and is well versed in latest industry guidelines including ASTM E2500.

In 2001 John (CEO) established KPC International, with a view to providing specialist expert consulting services (Project Management/Plant Start-up) to clients in the Pharma/Biopharma industry. In the last 8 years the organisation has grown in size and across markets to being a significant leader in the provision of technical services to the biotech and pharma industries.

Julianne Hogan
Julianne Hogan
An Industrial Biochemist by training, Julianne has spent over 18yrs in the Biotech industry. Executing and leading in areas such as, R&D, Virology, QC, Process Development, Tech Transfer, Validation, Project Management and Quality & Compliance.

Julianne joined KPC in 2012 and since then as COO has led on formulating the KPC philosophy, establishing the systems and processes for the development and growth of the business, such as: Project Management Organisation, Quality Management System to ISO9001:2015 accreditation, marketing strategies & brand development as well as establishing & maintaining employee & client relationships and providing consultancy to clients in the areas of Technology Transfer & Operational Readiness.

Sam Bengtson
Sam Bengtson
Degree qualified in HR and Organisational Psychology and with 10+ years experience, Sam has developed a successful career in Talent Acquisition, Retention and Customer Service within the Life Science Consulting arena. She has worked with many large multinationals throughout the world. Sam joined KPC in 2016 and as key member of the management team has led on the development of the KPC recruitment and retention process of employees and consultants for our projects
Ger Collins
Ger Collins
Ger joined KPC in Jan 2016 as Financial Controller. Prior to this he has worked for many organisations, including Novartis and Zenith, in various financial roles from Project Accountant to Financial Management.
Mary Collier
Mary Collier
Mary has a degree in Applied Chemistry and Quality Management and a Higher Diploma in Quality Management (Lean Systems). She has 25yrs+ experience in the Pharma Industry with >20 years in a variety of Quality & Compliance management roles in API, Aerosol and Solid Dose manufacturing environments. Mary has experience across a broad range of Quality Systems and has developed teams to implement effective Quality Management Systems. She has also worked in Regulatory Affairs and Supply Chain.
Mary has extensive experience hosting successful regulatory inspections including FDA, HPRA, ANVISA. She focuses on guaranteeing a confident and calm site during audit preparation by applying her PM and Leadership skills.
She has been instrumental in the development of an effective KPC Quality Management system using her Lean Black belt & Project Management tools. She played a lead role in attaining accreditation for ISO9001:2015 and has contributed to many KPC projects providing expert advice on regulatory affairs, QA oversight and strategic planning.
Tony Calnan
Tony Calnan
Tony is an accomplished engineer with 20+ years’ operational experience in the pharmaceutical API manufacturing sector. He is highly experience in start -up facilities, having been responsible for the design, procurement, installation and commissioning of the complete site infrastructural services for a major Greenfield API site in Shanghai China. He also has significant experience in operational activities, empowering teams and nurturing continuous improvement cultures, EHS and Quality having spent 8 years as the head of Production for Novartis API site in Ireland. Tony currently leads a project responsible for the C&Q of a packaging and warehouse facility.
